Beth Jones, turning 31 next month, married to the best man ever, have a dog who is my child, and I live on the coast of southern California!

What inspired you to blog?

I started a blog in January 2007 called The Vintage Society. It was very similar to B. Jones Style, but it was named after a store I planned on opening.. once things picked up and the blog took off, the name didn’t make sense anymore and I was doing a lot of styling, fashion video hosting, and events.. so I changed the blog to B. Jones Style.

Your personal style?

Eclectic, Vintage-Inspired, Character Driven, Quirky, Dramatic.

What fashion trends interest you the most?

For this fall I love the look of the eclectic lady.. mixed prints, bold colors, furs, layers.

Who is your style icon?

Carrie Bradshaw, Catherine Baba, Natalie Joos

Who is your favorite designer and why?

I feel that every season I am drawn to a new designer, but lately I am loving Suno, Karen Walker, Rachel Roy, Vena Cava, Tory Burch… just to name a few.

Designer clothes are very expensive, how can we find an alternative?

I’m a major budget shopper, and by that I mean I mainly shop in thrift stores, vintage stores and buy/sell/trade stores. I love being inspired by the designers and then creating my own version of the looks with vintage pieces. Seriously my outfits probably add up to $20 sometimes.. except for the shoes.. I always wear new shoes.
